The London arm of the Human Relief Foundation have upped the ante when it comes to community engagement in the winter months and have been working around the clock to provide services and assistance to those in need.
The latest activity saw the Whitechapel team join up with the One Third soup kitchen to serve homeless citizens at Stratford City.
The charity provided hot biriani, refreshments and water to visitors and team members joined volunteers of the One Third soup kitchen in distributing delicious food and drink to guests.
Community partnerships manager Khoyrul Shaheed from the Human Relief Foundation commented, “Newham is an area which is particularly rife with homelessness, however with Stratford being an international location this brings many diverse people to the neighbourhood.
“At HRF we are dedicated to serving humanity and we are thankful to Emdad Rahman and his team at One Third soup kitchen for giving us this opportunity to be of service.”
