Pupils at London Enterprise Academy are ecstatic after surpassing expectations to achieve excellent results.
The principal Ashid Ali described the results as ‘fantastic’.
The school achieved national average for pupil progress and attainment in 8 subjects and exceeded national average in EBACC entry and EBACC results.
There were some magnificent individual results which included 25 Grade 9’s, the highest possible grades, 60 plus Grade 8’s which is equivalent to an A*.
Ali added, “This is evidence that the hard work of pupils and staff have delivered results that we can all be proud of.
Some of the high performers achieved results that pupils in top Grammar schools in the country would be proud of.
The London Enterprise Academy has supported high performers to achieve exceptional results which will give them places in top sixth form providers in London, including London Academy of Excellence, Newham Collegiate, Mulberry Girls’, Brampton Manor and Sir John Cass.
Also tailored support has been offered to all the other pupils including new arrivals to the UK to achieve their personal best and progress to Post 16 education.
Principal Ashid Ali stated “I am so pleased with the performance of this year group. They were the pioneers of our school. Many of these students will go on to become Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, Investment Bankers and Entrepreneurs.
“The preparation and hard work of our pupils and the guidance from our staff have demonstrated that our methods of teaching and learning delivers high standards. I am confident that we will improve on these results next year. I wish all our pupils the best of luck in post 16 education.”
