Want to meet more women in the borough? 

Want to make new friends or just have a catch up with like-minded women?

On Thursday 31st January  Longbridge Councillor, Lynda Rice , Cabinet Member for Equalities and Diversity, will be holding a very special Womens Group meeting. This will include a lady from the Money Hub speaking about how to do CV’s, job hunting ( including training and applications), emotional and practical support, managing your money and Universal Credit (UC). 

All ladies are welcome. This will be held at the Hedgecock Community Centre at 6pm – 7pm next to Barking Community Hospital, off Upney Lane.

Tea and biscuits will be provided.

On Thursday 31st January, Longbridge Councillor, Lynda Rice, Cabinet Member for Equalities and Diversity, will be holding a very special Womens Group meeting which will include a representative from the Money Hub who will speak about how to draft CV’s, assist with job hunting (including training and applications), provide emotional and practical support, and advice on managing money and Universal Credit (UC). 

“This is a great opportunity for networking and self development,” said Councillor Rice, adding, “there will be refreshments and lots of useful information shared – All ladies are welcome!”

The women’s group event will be held at the Hedgecock Community Centre at 6pm – 7pm next to Barking Community Hospital, off Upney Lane.
