What to expect on the day

Be part of London’s first ever Ready Steady GLOW – a walk after dark along the Thames. See the area lit up as the 4.5km route takes you along the river and across iconic bridges, with great views of the Shard, Tower Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral. Please note all routes and distances are subject to change.
The walk will start and finish at Paternoster Square, where there will be a hive of activity to get everyone ready for Ready Steady GLOW. Amongst the excitement take a moment to reflect on who you are walking for and leave a message on the Memory Tree and watch it blossom through the evening.

Due to restrictions in the square participants must complete the walk by 21.00.

Between 18.00-21.30 toilets in Paternoster Square will be free of charge, but a 50p charge will be incurred outside of these times.

How to get there

Ready Steady GLOW will start and finish at Paternoster Square which is located near to St Paul’s Cathedral and can be accessed on foot from Ludgate Hill, Warwick Lane, Cheapside and New Change .

There is no dedicated event parking, please use city centre parking and public transport. The nearest tube stations are St Paul’s, Blackfriars, Farringdon, Mansion House and Cannon Street. For more information public transport links visit the Transport for London website.

To keep London environmentally friendly please choose the most sustainable method of transport.
