RunThrough are excited to bring back the RunThrough Chase the Moon series at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on, ‪Wednesday 12th December‬! Now the clocks have changed and the Chase the Sun series has finished for the year why not join fellow runners on Wednesday evenings for a unique 5k and 10k event around the Olympic Park.

Racing around the incredible grounds of London 2012′s Olympic Park, the flat and fast course is the perfect opportunity for a chip timed personal best.

‪Starting at 7pm, you can chose to run a quick 5k or take on a full 10k. At the end of the race you will be rewarded with your well deserved Chase the Moon themed medal!‬

Information:

Baggage

There will be a secure area where runners can leave bags. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, all you have to do show your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Refreshments

There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race, and water at the finish. There will also be bananas & flapjacks waiting for you at the finish.

During the race

There will be marshals all around the course as well as km signs and arrows. The course is two laps for the 5k and four laps for the 10k on the roads/paths in the park. Please be aware that there will be spectators and members of the public using the park.

Pictures

There will be a photographer taking a few snaps of the race and they will be on Facebook after the race so be sure to check it out and see if you can spot yourself.
