Guests included Deputy Mayor Asma Begum and Councillors Faruque Ahmed, Tarik Khan, Deputy Speaker Ahbab Hossain, Abdal Ullah, Shebul Khan and former Speaker Mizan Chaudhury.

Councillor Laila Butt travelled from Barking & Dagenham to wish the team well. She added, “I’m happy to be here and celebrate this community venture. I’m particularly pleased that local people are being employed. The first year is always the hardest and it’s great to see such good progress.”

There were also special appearances from social media influencers and celebrities Maj Hoque and Ikzy.

The function was hosted by Abdal Ahmed and Khaled Bin Sadiqur and finished with a meal to celebrate the anniversary.
