The Active 50+ UK team are touring Bangladesh and enjoyed their first win during the Bangladesh Tour 2019.
Active 50+ defeated Bishwananth Upazila 50-+ 3-1 during an entertaining win at the Lamakazi Grameen Bank Football Fields.
Player manager Fahim Bilal fielders himself alongside your group leader Dawlath Khan Babul as the golden oldies stormed to an easy 3-1win with Showkot Ali (2) and Rashid Ali scoring the goals.
Team captain Anayeth Hussain spoke after the game, “Despite the seemingly one sided score line this was a very competitive game and in the end our superior finishing was the difference. We look forward to our next game.”
Active 50+ will next play Sonali Othith Club Beani Bazar on 23rd February.
