Team MC land in Marrakech for charity run

The Whitechapel based Team MC have landed in Marrakech to take part in the annual half marathon with 30 runners set to take part in the international event on Sunday. 

Under High Patronnage of King Mohammed VI, the 30th International Marathon of Marrakech will take place on Sunday. 

More than 8 000 runners from all over the world will take part to one of the most prestigious Marathons in the world.

The magical town of Marrakech offers an exceptional setting, a very mild climate in January and a beautiful circuit considered as one of the fastest in the world. It goes along the alleys of palm trees, orange, and olive-trees, but also the ramparts of the city.

Harun Rashid From Team MC said, “We are a small charity with a big heart and are proud to have such a great mixture of runners all uniting for a terrific cause.”

Runners in the group include Abdal Ahmed, Nazia Khatun, and Sam Islam. 

Abdal Ahmed added, “The Children of the World Project is helping the vulnerable and needy whilst raising awareness of a great cause. I’m looking forward to joining the team and enjoying what should be a great day out for a very worthwhile cause.
