Ahead of Sunday’s Inner London Football League Inner City World Cup Team Bangladesh organised a get together to launch the team kit and thank well wishers for their support.
The community event was sponsored by FC Workhouse and Sayed J Miah from the Indian Ocean Catering & Events Management team.
Bangladesh are current champions and are led by Head Coach Emdad Rahman MBE and Assistant Managers Muhammed Nashir and Abdul Basit.
The management team includes former winner Hassan Abdullah and goalkeeping maestro Abdul Hakim.
Guests who attended the evening included Inner London Football League Chairman Rashid Ali, Avenue Construction Managing Director Bokul Hussain, Sister Christine Frost, Md Imran from charity partner Lonely Orphans, Aftar Ali, Afazul Hoque and Moklisur Rahman amongst others.
ILFL chair Rashid Ali said, “This is again an opportunity to use football as a platform to unite and at the same time celebrate our differences. We ask for great spirit all round and wish all teams the very best of luck.”
The live draw takes place tonight at Mabley Green and the squad will be announced on Friday.
Team Bangladesh will be defending their title this Sunday.
