Television’s chirpiest and cheekiest car enthusiast is to front the London Motor and Tech Show.
Mike Brewer, famous for the hit TV show Wheeler Dealers among others, will be a host and MC of the show, commentating on live events throughout the three-day event as well as appearing for exclusive book signings and ‘Meet Mike’ sessions.
When not on stage, Mike will be touring the show, chatting to visitors and exhibitors as well as signing his latest Supercar book and merchandise which will be available at the show.
The host will also be in charge of some of the show’s exciting new features, full details of which will be released nearer the time. The live, interactive elements of the show will be unlike anything seen before at a British motor show and will be sure to provide a big draw.
Mike is the first of a list of celebrities that the show will be announcing in the coming weeks as part of its automotive A list line up, which will include personalities and stars from TV & Autosport
Mike said: “I’m proud to be associated with the London Motor and Tech Show. To have a world-class motor show of this magnitude in the UK is fantastic, especially one that allows visitors such close access to the cars, exciting live elements and the opportunity to interact with hosts and presenters. It’s not your normal motor show full of shiny cars and stuffy stands – it’s a live event with so much more going on, and I can’t wait to be the show host.”
Andy Entwistle, London Motor and Tech Show CEO, added: “Mike is one of the best-loved faces of motoring in the UK, I’m over the moon that Mike is joining us and having him as part of the show is a major result, as his unique style and friendly personality are a perfect fit for our live, interactive events. We’re very proud to have him as one of the key faces of the show.”
The show, which has Leasing.com as its main sponsor, takes place from 16-19 May at London’s ExCel Arena, with tickets on sale now. Adult entry costs just £20, with free entry for children under 16. You can buy tickets HERE.
