Fancy Trekking Through Peru?

By editor

February 22, 2019

Join Penny Appeal for the ultimate fundraising adventure of a lifetime to experience an amazing ten-day trip trekking the Andes of Peru.

From high remote mountain trails to traditional Andean villages and Incan ruins, this is a challenging trek on steep trails climbing to 4600m in fantastic and diverse mountainous country.

The trek will take participants into the Lares region of the Peruvian Andes, passing green valleys, tranquil mountain lakes and high passes, with breath-taking views of snow-capped Andean peaks rising to just under 6,000m. Discover the magestic Machu Picchu, the legendary ancient Lost City of the Incas, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

This trip is taking place from the 23rd October to the 1st of November 2019, with 4 days of trekking. Trekkers will make memories that will last forever, push the limits, and know that long after the challenge has been completed, they will be helping deliver life-saving essential aid to those who are suffering around the world.

Signing up to this life-changing challenge will require a commitment to raise a minimum of £4,000, to support the Penny Appeal EMERGENCY RESPONSE campaign to help protect and save thousands of families from the devastating effects of natural disasters and conflict.

There’s no upper limit to how much one can raise though, and participants can go above and beyond to raise as much as they can.
